Commission: Storm Blaze

StormBlaze-Pegasus asked me to create a piece featuring their pegasus pony character Storm Blaze in a pose and scene similar to a drawing I made of Spitfire about a year ago. That particular piece had a great reception back then, for reasons that may be apparent to many who see it.

However, this put me under the pressure to recreate the allure that made the inspiration piece so appealing, without copying the pose completely. So I spent way more time than would be reasonable figuring out where I would place those forelegs and the pillow this time.

I think I reached a decent compromise, even if I know that it's almost impossible to catch lightning in a bottle.
