Rainbow Ash (I)

A commissioned work from my GAF friend JudHudson, who is a huge fan of Sam Raimi's Evil Dead series, and so asked to create a picture of Rainbow Dash as Ash from those movies.

This particular piece is inspired on a scene from Army of Darkness, where Ash dismembers his demonic doppelganger with his arm-mounted chainsaw.

This piece allowed me to improve a lot in many aspects and try some new stuff - for instance, I had never done fully painted backgrounds until now, and I think I nailed it. The dual lighting sources were also a fun and interesting challenge.
