Superequine Speed

Pinkie Pie's design as the speedster Fili-Second in "Power Ponies" is by far the best of the bunch. It is blatantly inspired on Flash's costume, but at the same time, it's its own thing, and a very accomplished design. With this piece, I was looking to not only work on a slightly more "realistic" anatomic formula or a simpler stroke, but also to do Fili-Second justice as the fastest pony alive: somepony who is not just quick, but INSANELY, MIND-BOGGLINGLY, UNIMAGINABLY FAST. The simple cartoon trail shown in the show seems to make this hard in a static piece, so I went with a more realistic approach, to go with the slim, athletic body that such a fast running beast is expected to have. Does it work? You tell me.
